Pathfinding Ministries  Statement of Belief

1. In one true God who exists in three persons:  the  Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19)

2.  That Jesus Christ was fully human and fully God.  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to a
virgin.  He lived a sinless life and was our substitutionary  atonement.  We believe in his bodily resurrection, in His ascension 
to the right  hand of God and that He will personally return in power and glory (John 1:14-18, 2Cor. 15:3-6,
2 Cor. 5:21)

3. That the Holy Spirit indwells each believer at the  time of conversion to sanctify, guide, and empower through His gifts
(1Cor. 12:4-11, Gal. 5:16-23, Tit. 3:5)

4.  That the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God and is given to us by God to direct us in our faith and practice
(2Tim.  3:16-17)

5.  All men and women are sinners and must receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord (Eph. 2:1-10)

6.  In water baptism and communion for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20, 1Cor. 11:23-26)

7.  In the resurrection of all men and women before a final judgment where there will be an eternal blessing for the
righteous and an eternal punishment for the wicked. (Matt. 25:31-48)
